Quality Management at the Sachsenhausen Clinic

After successful KTQ/ pCC certification and recertification (KTQ is an organization for monitoring the transparency of processes and the quality of services in health care) from 2005 to 2015, the hospital administration decided to set up an internal quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard 9001 and get a distinctive mark after certification. In April 2016, certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 by the certification organization WIESO CERT GmbH was successfully completed.

In addition, the departments of diabetology, cardiology, obesity treatment and a sleep research laboratory were awarded additional certificates of professional societies. The goal of all these efforts is always the safety, satisfaction and high-quality medical care of our patients.

Quality management is a process that never ends, because we want to constantly improve. Quality management in a hospital means that the patient is in the center of attention.

You decide what quality means to you, and whether you are happy or not.

‒ Only someone who knows about the mistake can correct it.

It is in this matter that we have to ask for your help. If you are satisfied or dissatisfied, would like to express praise or criticism, you can approach our staff or write your observations using the complaint form which can be found in front of the lifts for patients, in the waiting area of the IMZ (Interdisciplinary Medical Center), outpatient clinic, patient flow management center and the department of radiology, as well as in the corridor of the diabetic training center. You can write a letter or call Ms. Mandel (the department of quality management). We will be grateful to you for the words of appreciation, wishes and suggestions and we will listen to them with pleasure. We can improve our services only if we are aware of the flaws.
